WWF's 13th friend, ALBUS house of illustration, is the first gallery specialized in illustration in Korea, which opened in May 2017. It presents many exhibitions and programs with the mission to introduce illustration works that have not been highlighted before to many people in a space like a white paper. Currently, the group exhibition "Les Amis" by Jean Jullien, Nicolas Jullien, Yann Le Beck, Gwendal Le Beck is on view from 26th August to 26th November, 2023. "Working With ALBUS ﹕ Le Amis" is not only an attempt to make friends with a gallery that is located nearby, but also to present an exhibition that is like an appendix to the ongoing exhibition. The four friends participating in "Les Amis" have been working together since their school days and have continued their relationship to the present day. More than just friends, they are an artistic community, constantly influencing each other and showing similar but different works. Just like them, WWF and ALBUS Gallery will present a richer show through the collaboration of this exhibition. The main exhibition at ALBUS will show the connections through approximately 100 works, while a companion exhibition at WWF, featuring unpublished works, video, drawing performances will introduce even more of their work. Between ALBUS Gallery and WWF, we invite you to engage in conversation with friends, family, or yourself, and to reflect on the works to broaden and deepen your experience.
